I love days like this!
Without further ado, I’d like to announce the launch of Billy and Monster: The Superhero with Fart Powers.
Following on from the massive success of Billy and the Monster who Loved to Fart, I’ve been in the lab with a pen and a pad (Dr Dre fans bear with me) and have been working on more books in this very entertaining series for kids of all ages. The truth is this book should have been completed and published before the end of February. However, like you know, life happens and we had to push the publication date to mid March. Well the wait is over and you can go ahead and grab your copy.
So what happens in this book? Well, let’s just say Billy discovers he has super powers and he uses it to thwart the plans of a very evil man.
What do I feel most proud about in this book?
Well, it’ll have to be 2 things.
First of all, there is a seamless marriage between the funny and the lesson. David, please stop speaking gibberish. Well, what I mean is a lot of laugh out loud moments are packed into this book. Dare I say much more than found in Billy and the Monster who Loved to Fart. There is also a life lesson at the heart of this book you’ll love sharing with your loved ones. A life lesson that will resonate with them many, many years from now.
The second thing I’m really proud about in this book are the images. I have a new illustrator for this book, Aubrey and she’s taken the illustrations to another level.
